One slow night as a waitress at a Mellow Mushroom, I decided to start doodling cartoons on order tickets and sticking them up in the window to entertain some of the cooks. After a few characters, I finally stumble upon what I didn’t know would stick with me for the rest of my artsy days. I’ve never named this specific character because it’s always changing, rearranging and depicting thousands of different things. In one acrylic series this character even served as a piece of it’s environment, inspired by none other than Salvador Dali. It will always be my signature, what I always love and return to no matter how strange eyes dangling from eye sockets may be to some.
